In these shining days I had the opportunity to enjoy the frenzy of Milan and I took the opportunity to show you the other new Off-White’s varsity jacket by which I’m so fascinated.

Federica Petri Off White Chicago 5

The blue varsity jacket is composed with Off-White  and Chicago Bulls patches at front and back, black leather longsleeves and silver and blue Off-White script at front and in diagona; spread collar and elasticized cuffs and silver buttons as closure.

The navy blue-and-gray varsity jacket pairs “Off-White” and “Bulls” longhand with anecdotes related to the two entities, including “Abloh” on both the front and back. Milano, Italy, Chicago, USA, and various related dates are also represented on a range of patches that run down the arms and across the body. I’m in love with the novel caricature of the Bull’s mascot wearing an “Off” uniform dominates the back.

Instead, with a minimalist wraparound frame and a sleek silver-tone logo plaque, this pair of metallic silver sunglasses by Balenciaga are always simply amazing!

As detailed in a press release, the Off-White and Bulls partnership was brought about as a result of a conversation involving Don C, current Off-White CEO Andrea Grilli, and Virgil’s family.

In short, the press release adds, the aim with the soon-to-launch collection was to craft pieces that celebrated “the deep connection between the luxury fashion brand and the team.”

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Virgil Foundation.

Basketball and its culture was a consistent reference point for Virgil and his fashion and footwear designs. His passion for the sport and its various nuances was put on display through Off-White™ x Jordan Brand collaborations, and slated to be honored further with Off-White™‘s forthcoming initiative with the Chicago Bulls — his hometown team.
